Hi! I'm Dr. Allison.
I help women with nagging aches and stubborn weight find simple, sustainable eating and exercise habits that work for them so they can stop guessing and start building a healthy life that actually sticks.
You're trying to eat healthy. You're trying to exercise. You're trying to do all the things.
But something feels off. You can't quite name it and you can't quite figure out what to do about it.
You want your back to feel better. You want more stable energy. You want to show up for yourself and the people you love as the best version of yourself.
You've googled something like "hip pain when sitting too long" and asked ChatGPT to calculate your macros. Then the algorithm floods you with tips, fixes and recipes. So You keep scrolling, keep listening to podcasts, keep googling your symptoms. Now you don't know where to start or what is actually right for you.
And you're starting to wonder if this is just what getting older feels like.
It isn't!
You're not doing it wrong. You just need help putting you're individual pieces together.
I know - because I've been exactly where you are.
I'm Dr. Allison, PT, DPT - and I've spent my entire career trying to see the whole picture.
When I was 22, sitting in the doctor's office for my pre-PT school physical, I told the doctor my dream, to be both a certified diabetes educator and a physical therapist.
He laughed at me and told me it would never happen.
I didn't argue. I just went to PT school and spent the next decade working in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine - specializing in pregnancy and postpartum recovery and osteoporosis. I have helped multitudes of women recover from fractures, sprains, strains and surgeries.
But I never stopped thinking about nutrition.
Then real life happened. Three kids. Working full time. A husband up late finishing his MBA. Unexpected home repairs that stretched us in ways we didn't see coming. The kind of season where everyone is just trying to keep up and telling themselves they're doing okay.
We thought we were eating pretty healthy. I mean, geeze - I have a degree in it.
Then my husband's annual lab results stopped us in our tracks. I started reading. A lot. Books, medical journals, the most current research on metabolic health and blood sugar - not the outdated calorie math I learned in school, the new mewer science that nobody had taught me.
I started cooking a little differently. Swapping some ingredients. Prioritizing quality protein. leading meals with veggies. We refer to this as "carrots and conversation" in our house.
I started tracking my food and wearing a continuous glucose monitor, giving me an honest audit of what my "pretty healthy" diet really looked like.
Within days I was making it to lunch without running to my desk for quick snack. The weekly tension headaches I have been dry needling and stretching through for year? Gone.
I couldn't unsee it.
And I kept thinking - how many women in my clinic are missing exactly this?
That's why I built this.
In a traditional PT setting the appointments are too short. Symptoms sorted into specialty silos and codes that don't cover it all.
I built this coaching program to finally address the whole person - not just a narrow set of symptoms.
The women I work with are training for real life, not a marathon. They want to lift their laundry basket without thinking twice about their back. They want to feel their jeans fit differently without white-knuckling through another diet. They have nagging aches that don't feel serious enough to book a PT appointment - or they've been to PT and still aren't sure which exercises are the right ones.
They're already doing the research, Following the right people. saving the right recipes. But they're stuck in the research mode and never quite make the move. Change this, you are the right person, the right recipes the better research.
That's exactly who this is for.
I want to help women perform at life.
You don't just want to feel better. You want to:
- Feel good in your body and your cloths - without another diet.
- Cut through the noise and finally understand what your own body is telling you.
- Show up as the best version of yourself - for you and the people you love.
Step 1: Cut Through the noise.
The foundational principles aren't complicated — most people are just drowning in conflicting information that has nothing to do with their actual body
Step 2: Tune into your body.
The best data you have isn't on Google or in a meal plan. It's in how you feel after breakfast. How you sleep. How you move. We learn to read that.
Step 3: Make it yours.
The framework is the same for everyone. How you apply it is completely individual — because your life, your family, and your body are not the same as anyone else's.
What I Believe:
Your body has an extraordinary capacity to feel better when you give it the right inputs
Movement matters. Let’s make it strategic and aligned with your goals.
Understanding how your unique body responds to food is more powerful than any list of foods you can and can't have.
